About

An audio recorder for iPhone. Sound Bin records the audio your phone is playing and saves it as a file you can name, trim, organize and export. TAP GRAB. PLAY IT. TAP STOP. Start a recording from the Grab button. iOS shows its own recording sheet to confirm, and from then on your phone records whatever it plays. Go do the thing, come back, tap Stop, and the recording is waiting in your library. The narration of a tutorial you'd rather listen to than rewatch. A talk you want to keep. A sound you heard once and want to hear again. Anything your phone plays once and can't hand back to you afterwards. KEEP JUST THE GOOD PART Every recording picks up a little at both ends. Drag two handles in and it's gone. Trimming never touches the original file, so a bad drag costs nothing and Reset always works. Hear the cut before you keep it, with an optional fade in and out. NAME IT WHILE YOU REMEMBER When a recording lands, Sound Bin asks what to call it. Skip it and it names itself after the date — the Unnamed filter is there for tidying up later. PLAYLISTS AND EXPORT Group recordings into playlists, drag them into order, and play them back with the screen locked. Export any recording, or a whole playlist, as a plain .m4a through the share sheet, with your trim applied. 10 GRABS FREE, THEN $9.99 ONCE Sound Bin is free to download and includes 10 free recordings. After that, a one-time in-app purchase of $9.99 unlocks unlimited recordings. It is not a subscription. Everything you've already recorded — playing, trimming, playlists and export — keeps working whether or not you unlock. GOOD TO KNOW Turn on Do Not Disturb before you record, or a notification sound will land in the middle of it. PRIVACY Your recordings go only where you send them. No account, no servers, no tracking.Read more
