About
Latency is a private journal built around one quiet idea: you do not know what today’s difficult moment will become yet. Capture one worry a day, at most. Then leave it alone. Seven days later, Latency brings the moment back and asks what you know now that you could not know then. Around forty-five days later, it makes room for what happened downstream—something meaningful, something different, or simply the fact that you made it through. You can also keep ordinary Moments you do not want to lose and plant gentle intentions for how you want to move through a day. Over time, these become a living garden made from your own experiences. Latency never forces a lesson or a silver lining. “I still don’t know” and “Nothing comes to mind yet” are complete answers. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Capture one worry per calendar day • Record what your mind is afraid might happen • Revisit worries with seven days of distance • Return later to see what actually unfolded • Keep meaningful, funny, beautiful, or simply ordinary Moments • Plant intentions without streaks, scores, or pressure • Explore a chronological Journey and living Garden • See Evidence based only on outcomes you explicitly recorded • Export a readable copy through the iOS share sheet PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your journal stays in Latency’s local storage on your device. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, AI services, or Latency-operated cloud journal sync in version 1.0. The app works offline after installation. Latency is a reflective journal. It does not provide diagnosis, therapy, medical advice, crisis support, or a promise that everything works out.Read more
