Give it a photo you love and it builds you a camera that shoots like that photo. Not a filter you put on afterwards. A camera, with the look already in the viewfinder, so the shot comes out that way before you have edited anything. BUILD IT FROM A PHOTO Pick a few photos that share a feeling. A film scan, a still from a film, something you shot years ago on a camera you no longer own. kopi cam reads the colour and the tone that make it look the way it looks, and builds a camera out of it. Or just describe it. "Harsh flash at a party in 1998." "Overcast beach, faded, green in the shadows." It will build that too. THEN TALK TO IT Not quite right? Say so. "Warmer skin." "Less grain." "Make it black and white." The camera changes, and everything you shoot from then on comes out the new way. You are refining the camera, not editing one photo. SHOOT The look lands on the viewfinder before the shutter, so what you see is what you get. Photos develop on the phone and save straight to your library, sorted into an album per camera. SEND SOMEONE A CAMERA, NOT A PHOTO Publish a camera behind a link and whoever opens it can shoot with it. You choose which of your own photos go on the page, and you can publish with none at all.
