About

Your music. Your speakers. Your iPhone. MusicAssistantMate brings your Music Assistant server into a native app. Explore albums, artists, playlists and tracks from your connected music services, then choose where your music plays. DISCOVER YOUR MUSIC Browse your services and library. Search for tracks, artists, albums and playlists, filter by media type and see results grouped by service and service account. Artist pages show the matching tracks and albums. CONTROL YOUR SPEAKERS TOGETHER Select one or more compatible speakers and adjust their volume. Start or pause playback, skip tracks and open the speaker picker directly from the player. Your selection takes effect after confirmation from the server. KEEP PLAYBACK IN VIEW A compact mini player stays with you throughout the app. Open the full player for artwork, progress, volume and your queue. Live Activities show playback on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. They start automatically when playback is detected and can be disabled in settings. Outdated status is marked clearly. A widget provides quick access to your selected room; its buttons open the app. QUEUES, PLAYLISTS AND SCENES Play a track next, add it to the queue, use shuffle and repeat or transfer playback to another room. Create and edit playlists where supported by your music service. Scenes combine music, rooms and volume, with optional iCloud sync between iPhone, Mac and Apple TV. LISTEN ON YOUR IPHONE Use your iPhone as a player when your server supports Sendspin. The system audio picker also lets you listen with AirPods or over AirPlay. With Music Assistant remote access configured, you can reach your server away from home. APPLE WATCH INCLUDED See the current track and artist on your wrist, choose an available room and control playback, track skipping and volume. The Watch requires the paired iPhone app, a reachable server and an available companion connection. It does not play audio itself. WAKE UP TO MUSIC Set up recurring music alarms through Home Assistant. This requires a supported Music Assistant integration, a Home Assistant administrator account and additional setup. Home Assistant runs the alarms on your available speakers. FLEXIBLE WAYS TO CONNECT Connect to your Music Assistant server on your home network or through configured remote access. Sign in with your Music Assistant account, a personal access token or Home Assistant. Save multiple accounts and switch between them. If you use Home Assistant Cloud, Nabu Casa is available as an additional, optional sign-in method. It connects a Music Assistant app accessible through Home Assistant Ingress using its enabled remote access. REQUIREMENTS Requires a configured, reachable Music Assistant server with access to music services and players. Music content and any required service subscriptions are not included. Available features depend on your server, music services and speakers. Requires iOS 17 or later; the companion app requires watchOS 10 or later. MusicAssistantMate is also available for Mac and Apple TV. Explore the built-in demo without a server or account.Read more
