Localz

Localz is chat for the places you care about. Every place has a room. Your street, your campus, the market you walk past each morning — Localz gives it a chatroom, and the people inside it are the people around you. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT • Rooms are tied to real places, not to follower counts • Your location finds what's happening around you — no algorithm deciding for you • No feed to scroll, no likes to chase. Just the conversation happening near you right now WHAT YOU CAN DO • Join your local hub and see what neighbours are talking about today • Ask the things only locals can answer — which route, which dentist, what that noise was last night • Follow a question and get notified when someone actually answers it • Share photos, react and reply without handing anyone your phone number EVENTS Every event gets a room too. A market, a gig, a match, a meetup — join the room, find who else is going, sort travel and plans before you arrive, and keep talking afterwards. Organisers can open a room for their event for free, and rooms that keep going can become permanent local hubs. BUILT AROUND REAL PLACES • Every hub belongs to somewhere real, so what you see is anchored to actual streets • Busy rooms grow, quiet ones fade, so what's on screen is what's actually alive • Block, report and moderation tools in every room Localz is new and opening area by area. If yours is not live yet, you can pledge for it — it opens once enough neighbours want it.
