Watchdog: Movie Picks

Every good recommendation you've ever gotten is buried in a text thread somewhere. Watchdog keeps them. It's a private circle for the handful of people whose taste you actually trust. Friends send you movies, shows, artists, and podcasts with a note. You watch or listen, tap a star, and their score moves. After a few months there's a number next to everyone's name, and it settles the old argument about who in the group really has good taste. MOVIES & SHOWS • Tonight's picks: a movie and a show every day, from what you've loved lately, on the services you pay for. • Three for tonight: say who's on the couch and the mood, and get three picks that each say why. • Log a movie in three taps: stars, a line, and whether to recommend it to your circle. • Quick Search: someone mentioned a title? Save it, and the person who told you gets the credit. MUSIC • New artists: send a friend a band or solo artist you just found. Hear 30-second previews on the artist's page. • A Music circle of its own, so the friend with great movie taste doesn't have to hear about your EDM phase. PODCASTS • Send an episode or a show, with a note on why. FOR ALL OF IT • A scoreboard: every pick gets rated when it's watched or heard. Over time you know exactly whose calls to trust. • Your circle's feed: what your friends watched and what they thought, with your own take next to it. • The Couch: a thread on every title, with spoilers blurred. • It just landed: a heads-up the day something you saved shows up on one of your services. • Import your history from Netflix, Letterboxd, or IMDb so it's smart on day one. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your circle is only the people you choose. No ads, nothing sold, and your ratings, saves, and friends' phone numbers stay with you. Export or delete everything in one tap. Free. Three minutes to set up. Bring your friends and it works tonight.
