App Purpose and Functionality This app is a language translation and learning application that allows users to translate spoken or written text between English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. Users can select their desired language and use the Voice mode to tap the microphone, record their voice, and translate the spoken content into the selected language. Microphone access is required for the voice-translation feature. The translated result can be played back as a voice response, and users can adjust the playback speed. Users can also switch to Text mode and type the content they want to translate instead of using the microphone. The application allows users to make up to 200 translations per month at no additional cost. The monthly translation allowance resets for the next monthly usage period. This feature is included as part of the app and does not require a subscription or in-app purchase. Language Learning The Learn section provides educational material covering basic greetings, numbers, common phrases, and past-tense verbs. Users can complete lessons and quizzes to practice their language skills. Progress Tracking The Progress section tracks completed lessons and quizzes, allowing users to monitor their learning activity and progress. How to Use the App 1. Select the desired language. 2. Choose Voice mode or Text mode. 3. In Voice mode, tap the microphone and speak the content to be translated. Microphone permission is required. 4. In Text mode, type the content to be translated. 5. Review the translated result and use voice playback when available. 6. Adjust the voice playback speed as desired. 7. Use the Learn section to complete lessons and quizzes. 8. Use the Progress section to review completed lessons and quizzes. Settings Users can customize the application through the Settings section, including the language used for text displayed throughout the app and dark mode. The app also tracks translation usage so users can monitor their monthly translation allowance. Users can save their settings, log out, or delete their account. External Tools and Services The application was developed and deployed using the Base44 platform. External language and AI services are used as necessary to provide translation and voice-related functionality. The application communicates with these services to process user requests and provide translated and spoken responses.
