RECORD WHAT YOU MADE Save a name, yarn and color notes, needle or hook details, stitch pattern, date, and one selected photo. Each swatch receives a short tag so you can connect the record to the sample in your hands. MEASURE BEFORE AND AFTER Count an interior span, then record its width and height before washing. Add the same marked span’s washed dimensions when ready. See stitch and row gauge separately, along with the percentage change in width and height. COMPARE YOUR TRIALS Compare up to three swatches using a common reference of 10 cm or 4 inches. Add your own pattern gauge to a record and see the measured differences. Start a new trial from saved details without copying measurements you have not made. KEEP A RECORD YOU CAN USE Search by yarn, tool, stitch, notes or tag. Favorite useful samples. Export a readable PDF record with a printable tag, or share a text summary. Move records to Trash and restore them when needed. YOUR LIBRARY STAYS YOURS Works offline with no account, ads, tracking, or subscription. Export and restore a JSON library backup, including notes and smaller photo copies. Before replacement, the previous library is preserved for recovery. Supports up to 200 swatches including Trash. Swatchmark calculates from measurements you enter; it does not measure gauge from a photo or recommend care, needle size, garment size, or fit. A dated swatch is a reference, and your natural tension can change. Follow your own pattern and care instructions and measure a fresh swatch for each new project.
