Nostalume: Vintage Film Camera

Nostalume is not a filter app. It is fifteen cameras. Every camera had a soul — the way its film leaned warm at golden hour, how its highlights rolled off, where the grain lived, what it did to a face by a window. Nostalume models each of its fifteen cameras from the film stock up: white balance bias, tone curve and shoulder, dye-cloud grain sized in microns, halation, vignette, native frame formats. What you see in the viewfinder is what develops. Nothing is applied after the fact — you are simply shooting a different camera. THE LUMES From Amber 76's golden family summers to Pressroom's legendary reds, Gazette's black & white grit, Estate's medium-format calm, Nightcap's neon-night halation, Daydream's dreamy instant frames, Vista's saturated wilderness, and Fever's reckless cross-processed color — fifteen distinct personalities inspired by the great cameras and film stocks of the 1970s and 80s. EFFECTS WITH RESTRAINT Thirteen light leaks, each seeded like a real mishap. Dust that sits on the emulsion, not on the screen. A quartz-orange date stamp. Soft focus in three strengths. The film-strip frame with sprockets and edge printing. An instant-print frame with the classic fat bottom bar. Everything previews live and prints exactly as shown. FULL MANUAL, WHEN YOU WANT IT Shutter speed, ISO, lens-position focus, and white balance with real hardware locks — plus tap-to-focus that respects your exposure, pinch zoom, lens selection, and three recall slots for whole setups. THE DEVELOP ROOM Import anything from your library and run it through the same engine — same color science, same grain, same frames — with darkroom dials for color mixing, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, and vignette.
