About
Op-Logs helps theatre and clinic staff photograph a printed patient or theatre label, check the details on this iPhone, and email a structured case. Op-Logs is an independent app and is not affiliated with RACS or the Morbidity Audit and Logbook Tool. There is no affiliation, endorsement, or collaboration with surgical education and training in Australia and New Zealand. How it works 1. Create an account or Sign in with Apple. 2. Subscribe monthly through Apple In-App Purchase. 3. Photograph the printed label, or pick a photo. Add the Op-Logs widget to the Home Screen or Lock Screen to open the camera in one tap. The widget does not show case details. 4. This iPhone reads the text on the device. Nothing is uploaded to Op-Logs for recognition. 5. Check MRN/URN, name, date of birth, date of procedure, and hospital. 6. Choose the supervising surgeon and supervision level. 7. Save cases in your on-device digital logbook (optional reminders). With iCloud signed in, the logbook can sync securely to your other Apple devices and the Op-Logs Mac app — still without Op-Logs servers. 8. Review the email and send it with the mail app you choose. On Mac, you can optionally fill fields into the RACS MALT website yourself; Op-Logs is not affiliated with RACS.
