About
Clear each other before you get close. Clearly is the quiet check first. Two people, or a whole group, clear each other in seconds and see one thing: whether anyone in their recent chain of partners has reported a positive test. No names, no history, no details. Just a status, backed by real tests. HOW IT WORKS Clear with someone nearby, by code, or by phone number. Both of you see each other's status: clear, needs a test, or positive. If it is clear, you also see which infections their tests covered. Afterwards, check in with the date, so your calendar and everyone's alerts stay right. VERIFIED TESTS Add a lab result and it is checked before it counts. A clear status means verified tests covering the basic panel: chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. Less than that shows as "clear, but uncertain", and everyone can see what is missing. ANONYMOUS ALERTS If someone reports a positive test, Clearly traces the people who may have been exposed, following the chain of encounters as far as it goes, and sends each of them an alert. The alert says which infection and when a test would count. It never says who, when, or how close. A clean test dated after the window clears it. YOUR CALENDAR, YOUR PEOPLE Every encounter lands on a calendar with a color per person. Each partner gets a profile with your history together, and group nights are logged on their own. Private notes stay private. Only you can see any of it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Names in your contacts never leave your phone; only scrambled (hashed) numbers are checked against Clearly. Your notes are yours alone. Health data is never sold, never shared with data brokers, insurers, or employers, and never used for advertising or profiling. A four-digit passcode guards every alert you send, and it can lock the app too. HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS Clearly helps you make better-informed choices. It cannot make them safe. A clear status means nobody who logged an encounter has reported a positive test to us. Tests can be wrong, people can miss things, and protection and regular testing still matter. Use Clearly alongside them, never instead of them. MEMBERSHIP Clearly is free for your first three months, then $3.99 a month. Cancel whenever you like from your Apple account.
