About

Packet Odyssey - Net Lab is a pocket-sized network laboratory for exploring and understanding your local network directly from your iPhone. Scan your subnet to discover active devices and view details such as IP address, hostname, vendor, device type, and response time. Check open ports on any host and identify common services running across your network. Browse Bonjour and other locally advertised services such as AirPlay, printers, SMB, Chromecast, SSH, and more. Measure connection quality with Min, Avg, and Max latency, jitter, packet loss, and a real-time graph. Resolve hostnames and IPv4 addresses in both directions, and use the built-in Subnet Calculator for masks, wildcard values, network addresses, broadcast addresses, and host ranges. A searchable Ports Reference helps you quickly identify well-known ports and services. Organize your own devices with tags, notes, and Trusted status so new or unfamiliar devices are easier to spot. Every scan is saved in a searchable history, and detailed device pages combine host information, vendor data, services, open ports, and first/last seen timestamps. All scan data stays on your iPhone and is not uploaded to external servers.
