About
Dhriti teaches Sanskrit the way it is actually read: from the Devanāgarī script up to real words, real verses, and the grammar underneath them. A PATH, NOT A PILE Fifty-three skills and seventy-six lessons in order: vowels, all five consonant rows, mātrā signs, conjuncts, then greetings, numbers, family, and the verb "to be". Each skill unlocks the next, so nothing is asked before it has been taught. IT REMEMBERS WHAT YOU FORGET Every exercise is scheduled for review. Get it right and it comes back later; get it wrong and it comes back sooner. READINGS, EVERY WORD GLOSSED Thirty-five passages of real Sanskrit — the Upaniṣads, the Gītā, and the subhāṣitas everyone quotes — each unlocking when you can read it, with every word explained. GĪTĀ FOR KIDS All seven hundred verses of the Bhagavad Gītā, every one recited aloud, with a plain-language meaning, a word-by-word view and a short quiz. Children start with a gentler selection of four hundred and nineteen; the whole text is one tap away. A random verse every time, or a chapter in order. SHABDA VRIKSHA — THE WORD TREE Pick one of eleven roots — √gam "to go" — and watch gati, āgama, saṅgama and durgati grow out of it, each with the exact step that formed it. ASK ANNA Ask for a word's forms, a sandhi, a verse, a themed word list, or a sentence. Paradigm tables are derived from Pāṇini's rules by a grammar engine, not guessed, and every form is checked before it is shown. If Anna does not know, she says so. IN ENGLISH OR HINDI One tap switches the whole app. MADE FOR LEARNING, NOT FOR ATTENTION No ads. No tracking. No third-party analytics. Works without an account.
