About
Log a burrito? Tell it what was in it. "Chicken burrito with rice, black beans, cheese and sour cream." That's the whole entry. Ragus works out the calories, protein, carbs and fat, and writes the portion it assumed next to the line. If it guessed a medium and you had a large, you can see it, and say so. It's a calorie tracker you talk to. Nothing to search, no barcodes, no scale. Eba and egusi, a bottle of malt, a chicken wrap from the place downstairs: describe it and it's logged. Say the whole day at once. "Two eggs and toast this morning, jollof rice for lunch, then a 5k run." Food goes in, the run comes off, and each lands at the time you said. Forgot yesterday's dinner? "Yesterday around 7pm I had a burger" files it under yesterday. Got a line wrong? Describe it again. "Actually that was a salmon fillet, about 200g" replaces it. Walking counts without being logged, if you connect Apple Health. It reads your steps, and only your steps. Everything else, runs, gym, football, you say, like the food. Your target comes from your body and your goal, and the arithmetic is on the You tab, not hidden. Today shows the day as one number. Trends shows the averages over a week, a month, a year, and your weight as a line: one point for every day, drawn from what you logged. Sugar, the app's assistant, will remind you in the evening if nothing's been logged. Once. Never scolding. No ads. No analytics. Nothing tracked. Your voice clip leaves the phone to be turned into text, the text leaves to be turned into figures, and the figures are stored on your account. That's all. No email or password: sign in with Apple or Google, and delete your account, everything in it, from inside the app whenever you like. Ragus estimates. It's honest about that. Miss a target by a hundred and nothing breaks. Privacy policy: https://ragus.io/privacyRead more
