For a physical emergency -- trapped, stranded, or displaced -- the Self-Rescue Toolkit opens straight to your live GPS coordinates and compass heading (works with zero cell signal, since GPS uses satellites, not your carrier), a one-tap way to share your exact location the moment signal returns, and an educational, sourced step-by-step guide covering survival priorities, signaling correctly, conserving energy and water, and finding water outdoors. The crisis-critical core of PlainCrisis is free, permanently, for everyone. Immediate crisis support, the safety-plan builder, grounding and coping tools, means-restriction guidance, the hotline directory, and the Self-Rescue Toolkit will never be placed behind a paywall, a trial clock, or an account requirement.
