DailyPing: Culture Daily

Every morning at 8, DailyPing brings you one thing worth knowing — a film, an album, a book, an artwork or a dish. One. Not a feed to scroll, not a queue to clear. Then it tells you why it matters. FIVE TOPICS Film · Music · Books · Art · Food 365 entries in each, so a full year never repeats itself. MORE THAN A TITLE Every discovery opens into a short piece written to be read, not skimmed: • What it is, and the story behind it • Why it mattered then, and why it still does • The people who made it, with their faces and their roles • Year, country, runtime, pages, awards — the facts, gathered in one place • Where to watch, listen or read it next ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget puts today's discovery where you'll actually see it — in three styles, light or dark, coloured to match your topic. Tap it to open the full piece. It turns over at midnight on its own, even if you never open the app. QUIET BY DESIGN One notification a day, at eight in the morning. That is the whole of it. No badges begging to be cleared, no streaks to protect, nothing to keep up with. Miss a day and nothing is lost. FREE AND PRO Free — one topic of your choosing, one discovery every day. Pro — all five topics every day, the full archive of everything you missed, widget themes, and no ads. TWELVE LANGUAGES English, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai and Arabic. WHERE IT COMES FROM Film data from TMDB. Music from MusicBrainz and Apple Music. Books from Open Library and Apple Books. Art from The Met Open Access and Wikimedia Commons. Food written by us. ——— SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS DailyPing Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. • Monthly — $1.99 per month, after a 3-day free trial • Yearly — $9.99 per year Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
