About

How am I today? Why? And what should I do? Rest Signals reads what your watch already records in the Health app and gives you one honest answer every morning, judged against your own usual, never against a chart of strangers. Everything is computed on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded. TODAY A Readiness Score from your sleep, HRV, resting heart rate and activity, each judged against your own usual range and named on the card as good, a bit off or low. Tap it and see every signal, how much it counted, and what was missing. A banner for the day with the one thing to do, and the insights behind it. WHAT WE'RE WATCHING Nothing the app finds waits on a page you'd have to open. Your watch's own health alerts, blood pressure over the NHS lines and low overnight oxygen come to the top of Today with what they can mean and what to do, and stay there until you've booked a GP appointment. Slower patterns over weeks, like breathing at night, resting heart rate, HRV or walking speed drifting, sit underneath with their trace. While an alert is open, the score and training stay easy. A summary for your doctor, ninety days of readings with charts, is one tap away. YOUR DAY, READ BACK IN ORDER The day as one strip from midnight to now, and under it the moments that matter: when you woke and how the night compared, the overnight HRV, each workout, every stretch where heart rate at rest sat calm or ran high with what surrounded it and when it settled, where you are now, and tonight's wind-down time. SLEEP, TAKEN SERIOUSLY Graded against your own need, with "broken" said out loud when a waking runs past half an hour. Your need measured from alarm-free mornings. A regularity score. The night in one line. Room noise under the timeline. A night detective that names the most likely cause of each waking from heart rate, temperature, breathing and noise, with nothing to log. Tonight's plan worked back from your wake-up target. Naps, night shifts and time zones handled properly. STRESS AND RECOVERY, TOLD APART Stress is your heart rate at rest through the day against your usual, with workouts and walking left out. Recovery is the overnight index. Connect your calendar and see which meetings raise it. FITNESS AND WHAT TO TRAIN Pick a goal, or two that go together, and Fitness says what to do each day: the session, the heart-rate range, and why, from your own week and your own nights. Rings, workouts with heart-rate zones, and whether training is actually helping you recover. A fitness age against your real age, with a 12-week trend and one line per habit naming the study behind it. WIDGETS AND SHARING Home and lock screen widgets you can set up yourself. Share cards for your day or a workout, on a transparent background. INSIGHTS What goes with what, in your own numbers over the last year, shown only when a pattern clears the noise. Trends, highlights and a weekly review. A COACH THAT ONLY SPEAKS WHEN THERE IS A NUMBER BEHIND IT A morning read, a move nudge and tonight's plan. At most three a day, off until you switch them on. HONEST BY DESIGN No data is never zero. Partial scores are labelled. Every finding shows its evidence. Fitness age names its studies. What's new with every update. PRIVATE Reads the Health app with your permission, and writes back only the water and caffeine you log. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising. The one thing that leaves the phone is an approximate location for the optional weather backdrop. Rest Signals is a subscription: seven days free, then £29.99 a year or £4.99 a month, billed through the App Store. Everything is included; there is no free tier. Not a medical device and not a diagnosis. Requires an iPhone on iOS 18 or later and a watch (or another device that writes sleep and heart data to the Health app). Milestones, a new Today, and the proof behind every trend. • Milestones: pass a round number, like 250 km on your feet or 50 rides this year, and Today says so once, with when the next one comes at your pace. Tap it for the climb, your best month and a card to send. • Your year so far, on Fitness: kilometres on your feet, running, rides, walks and strength since 1 January. • See why: tap any trend going up or down and see last month against this month, every reading on a chart, in plain words. • Every reading weighed together: one reading a little off can no longer overrule a good morning. • …
