MelClimate is a calmer, faster way to run the air conditioning you already own. Sign in with the account your units are already registered to and your rooms appear. No extra hardware, no adapters, nothing to wire in. EVERY ROOM, ONE SCREEN Every room on one screen, with the temperature it is actually at and the last day of that room drawn behind it, so you can see whether it is holding or drifting before you read a number. Tiles or a list, in your own order. Tap a room for mode, target, fan speed and both airflow directions. Schedules run in the manufacturer's cloud, so they fire whether or not your phone is awake. The sky at the top of the screen is the real weather: cloud drifting, rain falling, the sun turning, the moon at night, from the same reading that gives you the outdoor temperature. WHAT IT COSTS TO RUN Enter your rate and MelClimate turns kilowatt-hours into money. If you are on Economy 7 or another night tariff, set both rates and the cheap window; overnight running is priced correctly, including the half-hour boundaries most tariffs actually use. A ROOM THAT IS GETTING WORSE, BEFORE IT FAILS MelClimate times how long each room takes to reach its target, and tells you when one starts slowing down. A blocked filter is the usual cause and the cheapest to fix. It also watches for short-cycling, a compressor starting and stopping too often, which is what an oversized unit does to itself quietly, for years. THINGS THE STOCK APP WILL NOT DO Coil drying runs the fan on after cooling to dry the evaporator, then puts the unit back in the mode it was in. It is the habit that stops a unit smelling. Sleep ramp lets a bedroom drift warmer through the night rather than holding one number until morning, which is both more comfortable and cheaper. Ready by works out when to start so a room is at temperature when you get there. Service records keep who came, what they did, and the report they left. Action history records every change the app sends and whether the unit accepted it: the first place to look when something did not happen. YOUR DATA, YOURS History syncs through your own iCloud account. It is on your devices and Apple's, never on a server of ours. There isn't one.
