Land Nav: MGRS & UTM Compass

A field-navigation tool for people who need a grid reference that is quick to read and easy to relay. Land Nav presents MGRS, UTM and latitude/longitude together in large, fixed-width numerals. Easting and northing are grouped so you can keep your place while reading a coordinate aloud. FOR FIELD WORK • Enter a grid in separate zone, square, easting and northing fields. • Paste spaced, dashed or compact grids and have them parsed automatically. • Use offline maps with an MGRS graticule when mobile coverage is unavailable. • Save waypoints using shapes, colours and folders. • Export waypoints as GPX, KML or CSV. • Read bearing and distance on iPhone or Apple Watch. • Calibrate pace count over three 100 m legs and adjust for terrain and slope. • Solve a position from two or three back bearings; Land Nav shows the resulting error triangle. • Average GPS samples for 60 seconds and view CEP50. • Work with WGS84 or NAD27. • Keep a live grid on the Lock Screen with a widget and Live Activity. • Switch to a red night display for low-light use.
