Phimphim is a Thai vocabulary app that helps you learn by typing. Learn to type Thai script and start communicating with Thai speakers! Features - Learn Thai words and keyboard input at the same time. - 3,006 words from the Practical Thai Language Proficiency Test (Level 5: 1,028 / Level 4: 721 / Level 3: 1,257). - Every word has audio recorded by a native speaker. - Every word has example sentences (6,017 in total), shown in Thai script, romanization, katakana and Japanese. - Built-in Thai keyboard, so you can start practicing even before adding a Thai keyboard to your iPhone. (If you have one, the iPhone keyboard is used.) - Level 5 words show romanized and katakana readings. - Customize the number of words per session and whether readings and Japanese meanings are shown. Study modes 1. Basic Practice: look at the word and type it, matching the script, meaning and input. 2. Dictation / Translation: listen and type the word, or read the Japanese meaning and type the Thai word. 3. Multiple Choice: pick the correct meaning from four options. 4. Word Speaking: say the word aloud and check it with speech recognition. 5. Flashcards: flip through cards with readings and meanings on or off. 6. Handwriting: write Thai letters with your finger and trace the model to learn their shapes.
