About
Size a pipe, a gas line or a duct on site, then hand your customer a document instead of a screenshot. Pipero is a field calculator for plumbers, gas fitters and HVAC installers. Eleven calculators, and every one of them shows the standard it came from and the assumptions it made, so the number you write down is a number you can defend to an inspector. WHAT IT CALCULATES • Water pipe size. Flow velocity checked against distribution and fixture-branch limits (EN 806-3, velocity-limit method). • Gas line size. Enter appliance power and run length, get the recommended DN with the pressure drop for every candidate diameter (Renouard low-pressure relation, natural gas). • Duct sizing. Round diameter by the velocity method, or the equivalent diameter and true velocity of a rectangular duct (Huebscher). • Offset and fitting. Rolling offset travel and run at 22.5, 45 or 60 degrees, with your socket depth taken off. • Pressure test. Required test pressure, stabilization and hold time, plus a checklist that separates a real leak from a pipe that is still warming up (EN 806-4). • Expansion vessel. Minimum vessel size for a closed heating circuit, and a warning when the pre-charge cannot hold the static height. • System water volume. Pipe runs, boiler and radiators added up, feeding straight into the vessel calculation. • Heat load. Room-by-room heat loss with fabric and ventilation split out (EN 12831, simplified). • Pipe insulation. Required thickness by pipe size and location, scaled to your material's lambda. • Booster pump and tank. Flow, head and tank volume for pre-sizing. • Unit converter. mm and inches, L/min and GPM, bar and psi, m3/h and CFM, Celsius and Fahrenheit. A NUMBER YOU CAN DEFEND Anyone can print a figure. Pipero shows you where it came from. Each calculator names the standard or the relation behind it. Where a value is a convention, a simplification, or something we could not verify against a licensed table, the app says so on the screen instead of hiding it behind a confident number. Booster pump and tank carries coefficients we have not confirmed, so it is free, badged as a pre-sizing estimate, and deliberately blocked from PDF export. We would rather lose the sale than sign off a guess. BUILT FOR THE SITE, NOT THE OFFICE • Works fully offline. Every calculation runs on the device, so a basement or a plant room is no obstacle. • Metric or imperial, switched any time. Inputs and results convert together. • English and Turkish, both complete. • Your history stays on the device unless you choose to sign in and sync. PIPERO PRO The calculators that matter most are free. Pro is for the moment you have to give someone a document. • Branded PDF reports carrying your logo, license number and company details • A project folder per job, with unlimited history • Duct sizing, offsets, pressure test, insulation and expansion vessel • Unlimited calculations, and no ads Monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. IMPORTANT Pipero is a calculation aid for qualified trades, not an engineering service, and it does not replace a qualified professional. Every result must be verified by a licensed installer or engineer against the codes and site conditions that apply where the work is carried out.
