parley by billy

Clarity precedes action. Not just money. parley helps you and your neighbours take stock of where you live, decide what matters, and do something about it together. COMMUNITY HEALTH You and your neighbours can evaluate how healthy your community care, money, trust, skills, nature, culture, spirit and agency feel. Then we can work together to find out what we can do about it. Pull a slice out to say it's strong, push it in to say it's short. Switch between yours and everyone's to see how your neighbours see it. Only people in your place can see its wheel, and nothing fills in until five neighbours have graded. VILLAGES Villages are borderless for working together beyond neighbourhoods to create alliances around causes, care, needs and resources. Villages are built by a keeper and if they want to include tools like a conensus with Pol.is or their own Treasury they can become a Village Keeper Pro. Village. In the future we'd like to make these tools free but for now it's a small charge for compute, admin and preventing spam attacks. TOWN HALL Most votes pick a winner and leave everyone else out. parley looks for what people agree on across the room. Anyone can add a short statement, and everyone votes agree, pass or disagree, one at a time. What moves forward is what both sides agree on, not the loudest voice. SOCIAL Connect your Bluesky account to see what people nearby are posting and to post yourself. Posts go to your own Bluesky account. ONE ACCOUNT WITH BILLY parley is from the people who make billy. Signing in to either app signs you in to both. YOUR PRIVACY parley never sends your location anywhere. No ads, no data sales, no tracking. parley never shows a number of people below five, so a figure can never point at one neighbour. You can delete your account from the You screen at any time. billy and parley aren't backed by venture capital or advertisers. They're kept alive by ordinary people.
