Fifty underground burrows stand between your guinea pig and a very large pile of vegetables, and eventually, the exit... Swipe to move, tile by tile, through mazes that start simple and turn into proper tunnel systems. Tap to drop a stink pellet and stun anything on your tail. You start with three hearts - lose them all and it is back to the start of the burrow. Clear a burrow without taking a hit for a CLEAN BURROW bonus, and chain food fast enough and a combo restores a heart. The dangers grow with you. Cats start patrolling from burrow 3, dogs join the chase from burrow 8 along with fog of war, and hedgehogs roll in to block corridors from burrow 12. From burrow 10 a few tunnels only run one way, and some exits are hidden. Five powerups help out when things get tight: dig through walls, sniff out the nearest food (it pulls you straight to it, invulnerable, while every enemy freezes on the spot), freeze every enemy, stampede through anything in your path, or a shield that arms the moment you pick it up and shrugs off one hit - including a one-way tunnel taken the wrong way. Free the caged baby guinea pigs you find and they follow you in a conga line to the exit. Catch the burrow rabbit and it drops a golden carrot; frogs, snails and butterflies are bonus critters worth chasing down. Crack open a gift box for one of 34 random boosts, from a speed burst to a magnet that pulls nearby food your way. Your heart pool grows too - collect a heart at full health on burrows 10, 20, 30 or 40 and your maximum goes up for good. Short story scenes play as you enter burrows 11, 21, 31 and 41, and once when you unlock the full game. Clear a burrow fast and clean for up to three stars against a par time, with combo scoring for quick chains of food. Stars unlock eight guinea pig coats - Cream (extra heart), Agouti (longer freeze), Snuffy (stronger pellet), Snowy (longer stun), Bear (more dig time), Choco (longer combo) and Shadow (stealthier) each bring their own perk. The tunnels themselves are reskinned across ten themes - dirt, garden, cave, hutch, frozen, candy, beach, night, autumn and crystal - each with its own weather that builds the deeper you go. Everything squeaks. The music, sound effects and background guinea pigs are all chiptune, all generated for this game, and all a little bit silly.
