Duck Shooter puts a lotus pond on your table and sends the ducks up over it. Point your phone at a table, tap once, and the island lands there — bamboo, reeds, water, the lot. The dog goes in, the ducks come up, and the phone becomes the gun: the mark sits in the middle of the screen, so you aim by moving, not by dragging a stick with your thumb. A round is sixty seconds. You carry three shells, reload in under a second, and have three lives to lose. WALK AROUND THE TABLE The bamboo really is in the way. A duck behind a stalk cannot be hit, so you stand up, take a step, and find the line. The room is the joystick. THE GOLD DUCK Gold pays no points at all. It hands back a life you lost — worth a shell, if you can catch it.
