About

Park without a fault, read every kind of roundabout, and drive the roads around your own test centre before you ever sit in the car. PassRank is three driving test simulators on your phone, each one marked the way an examiner marks, next to the pass rate and waiting time for every DVSA test centre in Great Britain. PARK WITHOUT A FAULT All four test manoeuvres: reverse bay park, forward bay park, parallel park and pull up on the right. Standard bays, a car that behaves like a car, and the reference points your instructor uses. Watch it driven, drive it with a coach talking you through every step, then take it as a test with nobody helping. Three clean tests in a row and the manoeuvre counts as learnt, then it comes back after two days, a week and three weeks so it stays learnt. LEARN EVERY KIND OF ROUNDABOUT Seven layouts, from a mini roundabout to a two-lane, a signal-controlled one, a city gyratory and Swindon's magic roundabout. Traffic repeats exactly, so you can take the same gap again until you read it right. Lane choice, signalling and observation are marked, and so are the two things that actually fail people: going when you should have waited, and waiting when you should have gone. DRIVE YOUR TEST CENTRE'S ROADS IN 3D Test routes leave from the centre and loop through the same handful of roundabouts, dual carriageways and residential streets every day. We map those roads from OpenStreetMap and turn them into five loops per centre that you drive in 3D on your phone, with the same signalling and observation faults an examiner marks. Drive them until the tricky lane on that roundabout, the hidden speed limit change and the awkward right turn are second nature. PICK THE CENTRE YOU CAN PASS AT Pass rates vary enormously between centres, even ones a few miles apart. Compare every centre near you by pass rate, first-time pass rate and waiting time, and book the one that gives you the best chance. FAILED BEFORE? Your centre may be part of the reason. See how it compares, read what other learners were failed on there, and choose whether to rebook there or switch to one with a higher pass rate and a shorter wait. TOLD WHEN A WAIT DROPS DVSA publishes new waiting times once a month. Save your centres and we will email you when one of them gets shorter, so you know to look for an earlier date instead of checking every day. LEARN FROM LEARNERS WHO TESTED THERE Real learners post where they were taken, what they were marked down for and how the waiting room works. Free to read and free to add to. KNOW THE FAULTS EXAMINERS MARK MOST The ten faults that fail the most tests, explained, so you can practise the ones that matter. ALSO COVERED Theory test centres, motorcycle module 1 and 2, lorry and bus test centres, automatic-only pass rates, and the busiest and quietest centres in the country. A high pass rate reflects local roads and candidates, not lenient examiners, and no app can promise a pass. What PassRank can do is make sure you have parked, driven the roundabouts and driven the roads around your centre long before the examiner gets in the car. PassRank is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the DVSA or the Department for Transport. The DVSA does not publish official test routes: ours are generated from the road network around each test centre, so they are the same roads, not the same route sheet. Pass rate and waiting time figures contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0, published by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. Map data (c) OpenStreetMap contributors. FULL ACCESS Pass rates, waiting times and the community are free. Full access comes with a 90-day pass (one payment, no renewal) or a monthly subscription that renews until cancelled in your Apple ID settings.
