About
Every block is a material, and materials do not sit still. Water washes soil away. Magma bakes clay into stone, then turns to obsidian the moment it meets water. Copper ignites vermilite. Ice dams a channel until magma melts it. Over forty materials, each with a trait that fires when a piece locks or you smash it down. ADVENTURE — 30 STAGES Descend from the Surface, through the Deep, to the Core. Every stage opens with terrain already in the well and asks for something specific. • Wash the soil, chip the stone, spark the vermilite, wither the moss • A vault at the end of each ten-stage arc • Progress saved stage by stage THE BENCH • One tool per run: pickaxe, hammer, shears, tongs, shovel • Every smash wears its durability and rolls its chance • Craft TNT from one to four cells, and flasks that paint the falling piece • Draw your own bar inside a 4x4 grid • Carry up to three relics — lantern, whistle, compass, satchel FOUR MORE WAYS TO PLAY • Shaft — the stack carries across stages. Leave, and resume at that depth • Well Clear — four layers at once, five times over • Crownwell — twenty layers, gravity climbing. Crown and wrist • Today's Well — the same stages and the same bag for everyone, once a day • This week's well — five shafts, no relics. Times go to Game Center THE GARDEN — AND THREE MORE PLACES Blocks you mine are spent here, raising a floating island under Home. Finish the garden — cabin, waterfall, birch — and the quarry opens, then the farm, then the hollow. • Building spends the blocks it asks for. What you used to hoard, you now put down • One place has to be finished before the next opens. Arrows by the title walk between them • Water runs, lava creeps, and the farm's windmill turns • Any block an island is built from can be repainted with another you have mined • Drag to turn it, let go, and it drifts APPLE WATCH, IF YOU WANT IT The board stays on iPhone and iPad. The Watch is a dial, not a second screen. • Turn the Digital Crown to move one cell • Tap to rotate, swipe down to drop, long-press or flick to smash • Lower your wrist and the game pauses • Wrist tilt is optional. Motion is read on the Watch and never reaches the phone The whole game plays by touch, with no Watch at all. ACCESSIBILITY AND SETTINGS High-contrast patterns for colour vision, invertible dial, adjustable move delay and repeat, separate music and effect volumes, VoiceOver labels throughout. 18 languages. NO DIALWELL ACCOUNT Nothing to sign up for and no Dialwell server. This week's well-clear time can go to Game Center if you are signed in with Apple; the rest of the game does not need it. Full-screen ads appear only on the way back to Home, from the second game onward, at most once every two minutes — never during play, never on results, never on the Watch. A single Remove Ads purchase turns them off for good, and Restore Purchases sits on the same screen. Questions or a bug: dive2ice@me.comRead more

ADVENTURE — 30 STAGES
Descend from the Surface, through the Deep, to the Core. Every stage opens with terrain already in the well and asks for something specific.

• Progress saved stage by stage
THE BENCH

• Craft TNT from one to four cells, and flasks that paint the falling piece
