mettā

mettā cards on your wrist. mettā cards are brief, pocketable reminders for life. Each card carries an intention that begins "may i" on its front and a brief, memorable insight on its back. The app puts one card on your watch at a time. Turn the Digital Crown to move through the deck, tap to turn the card over and read the verse. Or leave it on card of the day: the same card for everyone, changing at midnight, so the deck comes to you one intention at a time. A complication carries the card onto the watch face, so it is there when you glance down — not something you have to go and open. Two kinds: the card's opening line beside the mettā mark, or the card's own image. Both come in rectangular and circular, for any face that takes them. Tap either to open the card. The deck downloads once and stays on the watch, so it works without your phone and without signal. Nothing is collected: no account, no analytics, nothing sent anywhere. The cards are free and published at metta.pub. The same deck is in your browser at metta.cards, and exists in print — metta.pub/s
