About

BYBO is an independent app. It is not a government app, is not affiliated with the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus and does not represent it, and is not affiliated with belarusborder.by. It only shows data those organisations publish openly. Joining the electronic queue is done on the agencies' own websites. BYBO watches the electronic queue at the Belarusian border and tells you when it is your turn to move. No account, no registration, no phone number — type the registration number and that is the whole setup. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM ANY QUEUE MONITOR • AN ALARM, NOT A NOTIFICATION. When you are called to the checkpoint the alert arrives as a time-sensitive notification with an alarm tone — not a quiet line in the shade that nobody sees at four in the morning. People wait in this queue overnight, and a missed call means a lost place. • ON THE LOCK SCREEN. A Live Activity keeps your place, the forecast and the countdown in front of you without opening anything — on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. • A HOLIDAY WARNING. A public holiday in Belarus, Poland or Lithuania is the most predictable thing that happens to this queue. BYBO knows the calendars and warns you a couple of days ahead — but only after checking that holiday against the State Border Committee's archive for last year, and only if the queue really did grow. It also names the calmest day of that stretch. • THE SUM OF DRIVING AND WAITING. The app compares the open car checkpoints by one number: how long until you are actually through, if you set off now. No official monitor shows that number. • HISTORY, NOT JUST "RIGHT NOW". Charts of queue length by hour and by weekday answer "when should I leave", not only "where am I standing". ON THE MAIN SCREEN • Your place in the queue, large enough to read at a glance, with the plate. • How long the queue is, and how many vehicles passed recently. • An estimate of when you will be called, built from the queue speed over the last hour, over the last day, and from how fast your own car has been moving. • When the data was last checked. ALERTS THAT MATTER Set the number yourself: notify me when my place drops to ten. The app checks in the background and wakes you when it happens and when you are called. CHECKPOINTS Brest, Kozlovichi, Berestovitsa, Bruzgi towards Poland. Kamenny Log, Benyakoni, Kotlovka towards Lithuania. Grigorovshchina, Urbani towards Latvia. The plate is searched across every queue at once: cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, live queues and priority ones. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS The estimate ends at the call to the Belarusian checkpoint — it is not the moment you enter the EU, and border and customs control are not included. When the queue is not moving, the app says so instead of inventing a number. When the archive does not confirm a holiday peak, no advice is shown at all. The data comes from the official belarusborder.by monitoring, the open gpk.gov.by archive and the open OSRM router. The app has no server of its own: nothing about you is stored anywhere but on your phone. Interface in Russian, English and Polish. Light theme, dark theme, or whatever the system uses.Read more
