About

Den is a work timer, built for ADHD and autistic adults. Work in your own lengths. ONE THING IN FRONT OF YOU The launchpad shows one task and one length. Twenty-five minutes is a number somebody made up; you set the length yourself, from a short first step to a long stretch, and Den keeps the rest of your list behind a button. A TWO-MINUTE DOOR Come in for two minutes. Stopping after two minutes is a legitimate ending and is recorded as one. A quiet runway can leave the first move on screen until you are ready. WHILE A BLOCK RUNS A ring that empties. It never turns red, never flashes and never pulses, including past the planned end. Running over is something Den expects rather than a state it complains about. Stop gives you ten seconds to undo. WHEN THE TIME GOES A cue you set the ceiling on yourself, from a quiet buzz up to something that keeps asking. The loudest setting is a choice you make rather than a default you have to find and turn off. A built-in self-test lets you check that a cue reaches you before you rely on it. KEEP AN EYE ON SOMETHING Dinner in the oven, the bath, the washing. Set as many separate countdowns as you need, such as the chicken now and the potatoes in twenty-five minutes. They are not tasks and stay outside your history. On iOS 26 it uses AlarmKit; earlier releases use local notifications. On Apple Watch it holds its own copy, so it goes off on your wrist whether or not the phone came with you. ON YOUR PHONE, TABLET AND WRIST Dictate a task through the keyboard, ask Siri to add one, or use the focused Apple Watch companion. iPhone and iPad keep a running block on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with Live Activities. iPad has a sidebar, keyboard shortcuts and split view. NOTES AND APPEARANCE Keep links and text in Notes, separate from tasks. Choose light or dark, and put a photo of your own behind readable text. WHAT DEN DOES NOT DO No streaks. No points, levels or badges. No score at the end of the week. A stop is an outcome, not a failure, and Den has no opinion about your day. YOUR DATA No account and no sign-up. Your archive is held on your device and exports as ordinary files with a checksum for each one. Sync between your own devices is off until you turn it on. When it is on, everything is encrypted before it leaves, pairing uses a six-character code, and recovery words bring the same sync back later. No adverts, no analytics, no tracking. Den asks for no camera, no microphone, no location and no contacts. ONE PURCHASE Bought once. No subscription and no in-app purchases.Read more
