About
So Annoying! gets ads, cookie banners and popups out of your way in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. It also removes newsletter popups, prompts to open an app, chat bubbles, floating videos, website notification requests and AI answers in search results. You choose which categories to keep. Safari's blocking lists do most of the work as a page loads. The extension handles things that need another approach, such as a popup that appears while you're reading. On supported cookie banners, it can save a consent choice or use the site's own controls, then remember the answer for another visit. If you close something the app missed, Learning can recognise the dismissal and save a rule to try next time. Learning is on by default and also sends limited reports to help improve the rules for everyone. You can turn it off in settings. New rules arrive separately from app updates. The app walks you through enabling its five Safari extensions and allowing website access. No account is needed. You get an unlimited first week without signing up for a subscription. After that, the free plan includes five dynamic fixes a day per device. Static blocking, cookie consent handling and learned rules keep working without using that allowance. Unlimited removes the daily limit and works across your iPhone, iPad and Mac. I built So Annoying! because I was tired of closing things before I could read a page. I develop it on my own, and you can reach me at support@soannoying.app if you need help. Unlimited is a monthly or yearly subscription, or one lifetime purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Family Sharing is included on all three.
