About

SP GPS Tracker shows you where your vehicle is, where it has been, and how it was driven — reading from a Traccar server you control. There is no subscription and no company in the middle. Traccar is free, open-source tracking software. If you run it — on your own machine, a small server, or a hosted instance — this app signs in to it and gives you a proper phone app for it. A LIVE MAP Your vehicle on the map, moving as it moves, with a card that tells you at a glance whether it is driving, parked, or asleep. Tap the locate button once to find yourself, twice to fit you and the car in one view. Choose Google, satellite, or OpenStreetMap tiles, and a genuine dark map at night. A PARKED CAR IS NOT A BROKEN TRACKER Many vehicles cut power to their tracker when parked, and most tracking software then reports the vehicle as "offline" — which reads like a fault. This app never shows you that word. It reads the age of the last position instead and tells you plainly that the car is asleep and will report again when it wakes. TRIPS THAT READ LIKE DRIVES Drives are grouped by day with a total for each. A stop at a drive-through does not split one journey into three — short gaps are stitched back together. Open any trip to replay it: the marker drives the route with you, pointing the way the car was going, with hard braking marked on the map and distance, duration, top and average speed underneath. ZONES Draw a circle anywhere on the map and get told when the vehicle enters or leaves it. Zones are created on your server and armed against your vehicle in one step, so they actually fire. ALERTS Arrivals and departures, movement, speeding against the limit you set on the vehicle, and a low battery warning. Every alert setting lives on one page. BATTERY AND CHARGING For electric vehicles that report state of charge, the app tracks it over time, works out charging sessions, and measures how far you actually get per percent — from your own driving, not from a brochure figure. YOUR VEHICLES Add, rename and remove vehicles, set each one's speed limit, and give each a picture or an icon so you can tell them apart at a glance. PRIVACY Your data lives on your server, not ours — we operate no server and receive nothing. Your password is sent to your server once and never stored; only a revocable access token is kept on the phone. Your phone's own location is used only while the app is open, only after you tap the locate button, and is never sent anywhere. Place names are looked up through your own server first, and the fallback to OpenStreetMap's public geocoder can be switched off entirely. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking. REQUIREMENTS • A Traccar server you have access to (self-hosted or hosted). This app does not provide one and does not work without one. • A tracking device or vehicle reporting to that server. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Traccar project, or by any vehicle manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their owners.
