SylphCalc is a scientific calculator that lets you type math the way it looks. Instead of typing linear strings, you build structured expressions — fractions stack vertically, square roots stretch over their contents, and exponents sit cleanly as superscripts. Key Features: STRUCTURED INPUT • Fractions — numerator over denominator, stacked naturally • Square roots — radical stretches to fit contents • Exponents — superscripts and subscripts, fully nestable • Absolute value, parentheses, and logarithms (log, ln, lg) • Factorials, constants (π), and negative numbers REAL-TIME RESULTS • Results update instantly as you type • Copy results to clipboard with a single tap • Smart error messages guide you to fix mistakes MATH KEYBOARD • Dedicated keys for every operation — no hunting through menus • Trigonometric functions: sin, cos, tan, and their inverses • Logarithmic functions: log, ln, lg • Undo, redo, and full cursor navigation • Built for both portrait and landscape HISTORY • Automatically records your last 30 calculations • Tap any entry to restore and continue • Saved locally — never leaves your device CUSTOMIZATION • Two font families: elegant serif (TeX Gyre Termes) and precise monospace (JetBrains Mono) • Light and dark themes • English and Simplified Chinese, following your system language PRIVACY FIRST • No internet connection required • No accounts, no sign-in • No analytics, no tracking • Your calculation history stays on your device SylphCalc is designed for students, engineers, and anyone who wants a calculator that thinks in math, not in text.
