About

All your messaging apps in one inbox, and an assistant that answers with you. Correspondance brings Signal, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, X and Slack into an inbox built like a queue to empty: one conversation at a time, next, previous, archive. On Mac, iMessage joins them. HOSTED BY YOU There is no Correspondance account and no Correspondance cloud. Your conversations go through a Relay you install yourself, from the Mac, in one click. Between your iPhone, your Mac and your Relay, everything travels end-to-end encrypted. We hold no keys and no copy. ONE INBOX, TWO MODES • Focus: a single conversation, and nothing else. You answer, you archive, the next one arrives. • Inbox: the list and the thread, to skim, search and multitask. • The same person across several networks becomes one line, when you decide so. • Pin, mute, remind later, send later, undo a send. • Incognito mode: read without sending a read receipt. AN ASSISTANT, WITH YOU The assistant runs on your Mac or your own machine, with your own subscription. It offers drafts that you approve before sending as soon as someone else is in the conversation. Nothing leaves without you. ALSO • Voice messages with on-device transcription. • On-device translation, no external service. • Share from other apps. • Notifications that show the person, and replying straight from the notification. • Themes and writing fonts, light and dark. FREE, FOREVER No subscription, no paid tier. The code is public, under the MIT license. To get started you need a Relay: you set it up from Correspondance for Mac. Without a Relay, a demo mode lets you explore the app.Read more

Correspondance now speaks English. Notifications name what they announce — “Voice message · 0:12”, “Video”, “Photo” — instead of a file name. An archived thread stays silent, even when a new message arrives. WhatsApp groups show your contacts’ names in quoted replies again. The “+” tray swaps in at the keyboard’s exact height, a group’s unread count no longer comes back after reading, and Telegram joins the Relay’s networks.
