About

CANnery is a native CAN analyzer for iPad. Same workspace as the Mac: bring a log, load a DBC, and start reading signals wherever you sit. Open Sample Session from the Start pane — Engine, Battery, and Pedals charts, Trace, and J1939 demonstration traffic — before you open your own files. ------------------------------------- FREE - LOGS, DBC, CHARTS ------------------------------------- Import ASC, BLF, or CSV logs. Load one or more DBC files and decode every message on the bus. The signal browser groups messages by database so shared IDs stay clearly separate. Graphics plots any decoded signal as a line, bar, or digital track. Trace shows the raw frame stream — chronological or grouped by ID — with inline DBC decode and byte-level search. Message Timing compares cycle time to the DBC's declared periods. Statistics shows min, max, mean, and standard deviation of the signals on the chart. ------------------------------------- FREE - CONNECT TO A MAC ------------------------------------- Connect is free. On the Mac, share a live session. On the iPad, tap Connect in the title bar and enter the six-digit code shown on the Mac. That Mac's pages, panels, and signal selections appear on the iPad. Both devices stay on the same local network. The stream is not encrypted. While a session is running, the overview and follow mode work the same way, including the chart GO LIVE control that follows the newest data. Pinch with two fingers to zoom. Drag with one finger to pan. Connect does not unlock Plus. Panels that need Plus stay locked until this iPad has the introductory offer or a subscription. ------------------------------------- PLUS - DIAGNOSTICS AND EXPORT ------------------------------------- Plus on this iPad unlocks J1939 Faults (DM1/DM2), Node Map, and Diagnostics decoded from a loaded log or Demo Bus, plus export of an ASC or BLF slice and a PDF with charts and a DTC summary. Live USB adapters (PCAN, Kvaser, serial/SLCAN), transmit onto that bus, and the UDS console need the Mac app. The same subscription unlocks them there. An iPad watching a Mac cannot send requests. Plus includes a 14-day introductory offer, then monthly or annual. It renews until you cancel in your Apple ID account settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. ------------------------------------- DESIGNED FOR IPAD ------------------------------------- Full iPad screen. Sources stay beside the charts and Trace. Rearrange the splits to fit the job. The same workspace is on Mac and iPad. Command palette (Shift-Command-K with a keyboard, or the title-bar button) opens any panel in one step.
