About

Klondike with a seafaring air: the port is an old sea chart with islands, castles and the campaign route; the table is a wood-framed felt; the cards are ivory, with a gold doubloon on every ace and golden crowns on the court cards. All of it is drawn in code, with no images to download, which is why the app stays small and moves smoothly. Deal, drag, and once nothing is left face down, hit Auto: all 52 cards lift off in a cascade towards the foundations. The Trainer never lies to you There is a genuine Klondike solver inside it, working out the position on your device while you play. It marks the best move each turn and, if you make one that leaves the deal unsolvable, it takes that move back and tells you why. It only steps in once the loss is proven: it will never write off a hand you could still have won. Afterwards you can read the whole move list, with your mistakes and the correct move beside them. The Ascent: 50 levels Five chapters — The Gate, The Mines, The Temple, The Summit, The Golden Peak — of ten levels each. Every deal has been checked as winnable under that level's own rules, so when a level resists you the problem is your line of play, not the shuffle. The draw goes from 1 card to 3 as you climb, and some levels add a catch: no undo, no hints, or golden cards to collect. You earn up to three stars depending on how many moves you spend, each finished chapter unlocks a new felt, and progress is kept for good. The levels are laid out on the sea chart in the port: each one you clear keeps its stars, and the ship sails on to the next. Thirteen ways to play, counting the Trainer and the Ascent - Easy, Medium and Hard: draw 1, 2 or 3 cards, with gold at x1, x2 and x3. - Daily Challenge: the same deal for everyone, with a streak and the day's leaderboard. - Time Attack: five minutes, and every second you have left over pays out in gold. - Zen: no clock, no gold, undo as often as you like. - Treasure Hunt: six golden cards that pay extra when they reach a foundation. - Gambit: every game rolls a modifier — more gold in exchange for playing without hints, without undo, or without either. - Golden Bet: the classic Klondike scoring, in game gold. Pay the stake, earn on each card you send up, and choose when to stop. - Jackpot Streak: a streak bonus. Chain wins to grow the pot; a single loss takes all of it. - Difficulty Roulette: start on Easy and climb by winning; the first loss ends the run. The Loot Your gold, your gems, your level, your rank — Apprentice to Legend — and the daily chest all live here. At the Market, gold buys card backs and table felts; on the Jewels tab, gems buy curated deals that keep a name of their own in your jewel box and can be replayed whenever you like. Gold and gems are in-game currency: you earn them by playing, they cannot be bought with real money and they cannot be turned into money. There is also this: 15 achievements, three new missions every day, per-mode statistics, a link that dares a friend to beat your time, and an autosave that picks the game up exactly where you left it. What it does not have - No ads: no banners, no videos, no rewarded clips. - No in-app purchases. - No sign-up: it asks for no email and no password. - No connection needed: the whole game ships inside the app. Only device sync and the daily leaderboard use the internet. English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese. On iPhone and iPad, in portrait or landscape. Six card styles, twelve backs and ten table felts. It lets you pinch to zoom, announces itself to screen readers, and respects the system setting for reduced motion.Read more

A new look, “Voyage”: the menu is now a port on an old sea chart, with the Ascent’s route winding between islands and castles. Each time you clear a level, the ship sails on to the next. - Routes, Loot and Market, one tap away on the navigation bar. - Three new languages: French, Italian and Portuguese. - Three new card styles and six more card backs. - Long columns no longer hide cards: when they don’t fit, the cards shrink just enough. - The app is smaller.
