About
Fractalicious is a fractal explorer built for depth. Powered by Metal compute shaders, it renders Mandelbrot, Julia, Burning Ship, Tricorn, and Newton fractals in real time — and doesn't stop where most explorers do. Past the point where ordinary double-precision maths breaks down, Fractalicious switches to perturbation rendering: a reference orbit computed at extended precision lets it keep zooming far beyond 10¹¹×, deeper and faster than emulated double-precision arithmetic. — Pinch and drag to explore by hand, with the image staying sharp the moment you let go. — Let the autopilot explore on its own, following the most interesting boundary detail and backing out when it hits the edge of what the arithmetic can resolve. — Eight colour palettes. — Learn the mathematics behind each set from the built-in notes — who discovered it, and why it looks the way it does. No accounts, no network access, no data collected. Available in English (UK & US), German (Switzerland & Germany), French, Italian, and Ukrainian.Read more
