Pocket GPS is a handheld GPS toolkit for outdoor exploration, route recording, field measurement, and everyday location needs. No account is required to check your current position, coordinates, address, elevation, and estimated accuracy or to use its practical tools. Key features: - Map measurement: Add points on the map to measure distance, area, and perimeter with multiple units and calculation methods. - GPS track recording: Capture your route, distance, duration, speed, and elevation changes, with pause and resume controls, point annotations, and trend charts. - Route following: Follow a saved route, check progress and remaining distance, and receive a clear warning when you move off route. - Live location sharing: Create or join a temporary group without an account and see your companions’ live locations on one map. - Outdoor tools: Use a compass, level, altimeter, speedometer, magnetic field detector, map, and GPS watermark camera. - Data exchange: Import and export GPX, KML, GeoJSON, CSV, WKT, and Pocket Geo packages. Your data stays under your control. Records can remain on your device. When iCloud sync is enabled, saved records and attachments sync entirely through your private iCloud space across devices signed in to the same Apple ID. Location is sent to the sharing service only when you choose to enable live sharing. Some features require location, camera, device sensor, or Always Location access.
