WorkSlate Tech is the field app for technicians working for a business that runs on WorkSlate. Your dispatcher schedules the work; this is where you do it. YOUR DAY Open the app and see today's visits in order, with the customer, the address, and what the job is. Tap through for the details: site notes, access instructions, the equipment you'll be working on, and what has been done there before. WORK THE JOB Start and finish a visit and your hours are recorded with it. Mark yourself on the way and the customer is told automatically. Pause or skip a visit and the reason goes on the record, so the next person to open that job knows why. WHAT YOU FOUND, AND WHAT YOU USED Photograph the work as you go and it lands on the job for the office to see. Add parts and labor as you use them. Take notes by typing or by speaking, without leaving the job. Work through a checklist so nothing is missed. QUOTE ON THE SPOT Build an estimate from the work in front of you and send it to the customer before you leave. TALK TO THE CUSTOMER Message them from the job, with photos or files attached, and see their replies. WHEN THERE IS NO SIGNAL Basements, crawlspaces, and rural roads. Your day and your job details are kept on the phone so you can still read them, and the work you do offline is sent as soon as the signal comes back. SHARING YOUR LOCATION If your employer turns it on and you agree to it, your location is shared while you are on shift so dispatch can coordinate the day. You can turn it off. WorkSlate Tech requires an account with a business that uses WorkSlate. It is not sold separately.
