About

PulseGuard Care is a simple way to let your family know you are okay. Once a day, you open the app and press one button. That is the whole thing. The people you have chosen can see that you checked in, so nobody has to phone at nine every morning to be sure. If a day goes by and no check-in arrives, we remind you first. If we still hear nothing, we tell the people in your Care Circle, so they can look in on you. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose your time. Once a day, or twice, whenever suits you. 2. Add your Care Circle. The people who should be told if you go quiet. 3. Press "I'm okay". That is all it takes. Nobody is added to your Care Circle without agreeing. They receive an email explaining what it means, and nothing starts until they accept. They can decline, and you can remove them at any time. What they can see is deliberately small: that you checked in, and when. Not where you are. Not what is in your vault. FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT A DAILY BUTTON Some people never check in at all, and that is a supported way to use PulseGuard. Instead of a daily press, the app notices if your account falls silent for a stretch you choose. Simply opening the app counts. THE LEGACY VAULT You can write down the things your family would need to know and cannot ask you later. Where the documents are kept. Who to telephone. What you would want done. You choose who each note is for. It stays private to you while you are using your account. It is released only if your account falls silent for a long time, after we have tried to reach you and a person at PulseGuard has reviewed the case. Any sign of life from you stops the process immediately. You can also record short video messages for the people you name. WHAT PULSEGUARD IS NOT We would rather you know this before you rely on it. It is not an emergency service. We do not call the police or an ambulance. We send messages to the people you chose, and it is then for them to act. If you are in danger, contact the emergency services directly. Nobody is watching a screen. Alerts are produced by software on a schedule. There is no monitoring centre and no person on duty. It is not a medical device. PulseGuard does not detect falls, monitor your health, diagnose anything, or give medical advice. A missed check-in means only that a button was not pressed. The Legacy Vault is not a will. Writing your wishes here does not make them legally binding on anyone, and PulseGuard never holds, moves or manages money, accounts or property. It delivers what you wrote to the person you named. DESIGNED TO BE EASY TO USE Large text. Big buttons. Three screens and no more. Built for someone who does not want to learn an app, and for the son or daughter setting it up for them. A new look. PulseGuard has a new icon and a warmer set of colours throughout the app. Nothing about how it works has changed — check-ins, your Care Circle, and your Vault all work exactly as they did.
