CRegister turns your iPhone or iPad into a proper cash register. It is built for the counter of a small café, bakery, food stall or shop — the places where a full EPOS system is too much, and a notebook is not enough. RING UP A SALE IN SECONDS Your products sit in a grid, arranged by category, so the whole menu is one tap away. Items with choices — a small, medium or large coffee — prompt for the size and price the moment you tap them. There is a keypad too, for the odd item that is not on the menu. CASH HANDLED PROPERLY Enter what the customer handed over and CRegister works out the change. Tap "Exact" when it is the right money. Your float, takings and expected drawer total are tracked through the shift, so the count at closing matches what the till says it should be. RECEIPTS AND YOUR CASH DRAWER Connect any ESC/POS thermal receipt printer on your network — Epson, Star and compatible models. Receipts can print automatically on every sale, and the cash drawer pops when the sale completes. Print a test slip any time to check the connection. A printer is entirely optional: every other feature works without one. EVERY SALE ON RECORD Transactions are listed with their items, payment method and time. Open any one to reprint the receipt, refund it or void it. Nothing is quietly deleted — refunds and voids are recorded as their own entries, which is what your accountant wants to see. KNOW HOW THE DAY WENT Reports show net sales, number of sales, average sale, tax collected and refunds across a day, week, month, quarter or year, with a chart of when the money actually came in and a list of your best sellers. Close the shift with a Z report for the end-of-day summary. YOUR PRODUCTS, YOUR WAY Add, edit and delete products with prices, categories and size variations. Mark something sold out with a single switch and it greys out on the till instead of disappearing, so you can put it back the moment it is baked. LIGHT AND DARK Choose light, dark, or let the till follow your device. Dark mode is easier on the eyes on an evening counter; light is crisper in a sunny window. WORKS WHERE YOU DO The same till runs on iPhone, iPad and in a web browser, signed in to the same account, so the counter tablet and the phone in your pocket show the same products and the same sales. TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Tap "Continue as guest" and you get a working till with sample café products straight away. When you are ready, turn the guest till into a full account without losing anything you have already set up. ABOUT PAYMENTS CRegister records how a sale was paid so your own takings and totals stay correct. It does not process payments and never asks for, receives or stores card numbers or payment credentials. Cash is the payment method in this version; card support is planned for a later update.
