Wayven Driver

Wayven Driver is the app for drivers on the Wayven network, the student transportation dispatch service run by Wayven LLC. Drivers use it to: - Receive and accept trip offers for assigned student rides - See each day's trips with pickup and drop-off details - Navigate to each stop with one tap - Mark arrival, pickup, and completion as the ride happens - Go Online when you are available for work, so dispatch can see which drivers are nearby before assigning a trip - Share the vehicle's live position during an assigned trip with Wayven dispatch, the school or organization that booked the ride, the transportation provider, and the student's family - Get reminders before scheduled trips and report issues afterward Wayven Driver is for approved drivers only. Accounts are set up by Wayven or your transportation provider; downloading the app does not make you a driver. If you are not yet on the Wayven network, visit wayventransport.com. Location. Wayven Driver collects location data to enable live trip tracking of your vehicle during an assigned student trip, even when the app is closed or not in use. It also collects your location while you choose to be Online and available for work, so dispatch can see which drivers are nearby before assigning a trip; you decide when to go Online and you can go Offline at any time. A notification stays in your status bar the whole time a trip is being tracked. The route driven from the moment you arrive at the pickup until the trip ends is kept for 90 days as the record of the ride, and is then deleted. Marking a step on a trip, including declining an offer, also saves the single position you were in at that moment onto that trip's record. Location is never sold and never used for advertising. Full details are in our privacy notice. You can delete your account from inside the app, unless a student is aboard right now, in which case finish that ride first. Completed trip records are kept as business records of the rides we ran; your profile, credential documents and sign-in go, and each past ride keeps the driver name and vehicle it was invoiced with.
