About

Cadence tells you when to review, so you stop guessing. It works out the moment a fact is about to slip, and asks you then — not a week too early, when you already knew it, and not a month too late, when it has gone. That timing is the whole product. Everything else gets out of the way. Thirty seconds counts as a session. HOW IT WORKS Open the app, see what is due, tap through it. Two buttons — got it, or missed it — and Cadence handles the rest. Four grades are there if you want the finer control, off by default because most people never need them. Underneath is FSRS, the modern scheduling algorithm that serious learners have moved to. It learns how you personally forget and widens the gaps as a memory holds. You never have to configure an interval. MAKING CARDS Cards should come from the notes you already have. • Photograph a page and let the text be recognised on your device • Import a PDF, a slide deck, a spreadsheet, or a plain text file • Paste anything straight in • Write them yourself, one at a time • Cover parts of a diagram to test yourself on the labels You review and edit every card before a single one is saved. Nothing is ever added behind your back. COMING FROM ANKI Import an .apkg file and it keeps what matters: your tags, your cloze deletions, and your review history. A deck arrives on the schedule it had already earned, not as thousands of cards all due at once. WHEN LIFE GETS IN THE WAY Miss a fortnight and you will not open the app to nine hundred cards and a sinking feeling. Cadence offers to spread the backlog over the next few days so no single day is impossible — without deleting anything or touching your review history. ALSO IN THE APP • Star a card mid-review to come back to it • Select many cards at once to suspend, tag, move or delete • Statistics that show whether the intervals are actually growing • A Home Screen widget with what is due • Shortcuts and Siri support • Read aloud, in the language of the card • Backup and restore, and export whenever you like • iCloud sync between your iPhone and iPad BUILT TO BE READ Every control is labelled for VoiceOver. The type scales to the largest accessibility sizes without a screen breaking. Reduce Motion is honoured. Nothing important is signalled by colour alone. PRIVACY, IN FULL No analytics. No advertising. No tracking. No third-party code of any kind — not for payments, not for crash reports, not for anything. There is no account to create and no server of ours for your cards to sit on, because we do not have one. If you turn on sync, your data goes to your own iCloud account and nowhere else. Cadence's App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected. That is the strongest one Apple offers, and we would rather earn it than explain around it. PRICING Cadence is free for 14 days with the entire app unlocked and no feature held back. After that: • Monthly — renews every month • Annual — renews every year, and costs less per month • Lifetime — one payment, with nothing to renew Prices are shown in the App Store in your currency. The trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Settings. If a subscription lapses, Cadence becomes read-only. Your cards stay on your device, your review history is untouched, and export keeps working. Falling behind on a payment is not a reason to hold your own work hostage. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
