Solo with a band. See the scale. Follow the chords. RiffAlly Jam is a guitar practice companion for improvisation, solos and chord changes. An on-device drums-and-bass backing band plays your progression while the live chord display and fretboard guide help you find your next phrase. EXPLORE 24 JAM PRESETS • Start with four familiar progressions or explore 20 additional named arrangements across blues, rock, funk, soul, jazz, Latin and more • Practice full 12-bar blues and four- or eight-chord forms • Search by preset name or style • Choose your practice key once and keep it when switching presets • Each newer preset loads its recommended tempo, groove, drum kit, bass sound and chord pace • Reselect a newer preset to restore its arrangement while keeping your chosen key SOLO WITH A VISUAL GUIDE • See the current chord and fretboard guide together during normal playback; larger text remains scrollable • Swipe the neck from open strings through fret 24, even while playing • Follow the scale root and scale path in the newer presets • Overdrive Run changes from natural minor to harmonic minor at its final dominant chord • Paper Palms moves from Dorian to relative Lydian: the notes stay the same while the root and degree labels change • Current-section and next-scale cues help you prepare without moving your chosen fretboard position • The original four presets highlight the current chord's root and other chord tones • Choose Dark Ebony, Maple or Walnut fretboard finishes SHAPE YOUR BACKING BAND • Edit individual chord roots and types, or reorder the progression • Choose from 14 rhythm styles, including Classic Rock, Dirty Rock, Blues Shuffle, Tight Funk, Jazz Swing, Bossa Nova, Metal Drive, Latin Rock and Spacious • Pick Rock, Jazz or Vintage Brushes acoustic drums and Clean Finger, Clean Pick or Upright bass • All instrument sounds are included for offline practice; accompaniment is drums and bass, not recorded songs or guitar parts • Let each chord last one, two or four bars • Start with a count-in, then mute or rebalance drums and bass without stopping KEEP YOUR SETUPS Save jams locally and return to their keys, tempos, sounds and arrangements.     • 20 new jam presets bring the collection to 24, including full 12-bar blues and longer progressions. • Three new backing styles: Metal Drive, Latin Rock and Spacious. • Pick your practice key once and keep it as you explore presets. Each new preset loads its recommended tempo, groove and instruments. • Follow synchronized scale changes in Overdrive Run and Paper Palms, with current-section and next-scale cues. • Search presets, swipe longer chord rows, and keep your chosen fretboard position through scale changes. • Earlier saved jams retain their original arrangements and settings.
