About
A new pet hatches every month. At the start of the month, your child picks an egg. Out comes a dragon, a bear, a shark or one of almost 30 animals. From then on it's theirs to look after: every chore they tick off becomes food, and every meal helps the pet grow. Five stages later, when the month ends, it's saved in your child's collection – and a new egg is waiting. That's the whole idea. Not an app that nags, but something kids open on their own to see how their pet is doing. HOW IT WORKS You set up your child's daily chores and decide how much food each one is worth. Your child ticks them off in their own view, feeds the pet and watches it grow. In your view you can see what's done today, without having to ask. ADVENTURES AND RARE ANIMALS Every new level earns an adventure ticket. Adventures unlock rare and legendary eggs, plus frames and decorations for the pet's scene. A child who grows their pet to the top level early keeps earning stars for the rest of the month. FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY • A separate view for each child, with only their chores • Shared to-do lists and a family calendar with recurring events • Invite family members with a QR code • Works on everyone's phones at the same time POCKET MONEY AND SAVINGS GOALS Your child's wallet lives in the app: allowance paid out automatically, savings goals to work towards and expenses that are deducted. Your child can see what they have and how far they are from the bike, the helmet or whatever it is. You manage the amounts – your child can look, not change. Works in your own currency. ON A SHARED PHONE Does your child borrow your phone? The way back to the parent view can be locked with a four-digit code. If each child has their own device, you never need to set one. WHAT IT COSTS One month free. After that, one low monthly price for the whole family – not per child. No ads. Cancel whenever you like. I'm a dad in Sweden who built KidQuest for my own kids, to stop nagging about brushing teeth every morning. I develop the app myself, in the evenings and at weekends.
