About
Up to eight riders drop in together. One of them gets to the bottom first, and the rest have to live with it. That's the whole game, and it plays meaner than it sounds. You carve down the mountain, pop off every kicker you can reach and spin 360s and 720s with the same held thumb taking the grab for extra style. The riders around you are in the way, and you're under no obligation to be polite about it. The gold THROW button lobs a snowball at the nearest rider ahead of you and puts them flat in the snow, and catching somebody at full speed sends them tumbling. Go down yourself and it's still not over: you drop straight back in and chase them down. • RACE FIRST, SHOW OFF SECOND The field starts at five riders on the nursery slopes and grows to eight as you climb. Snowballs knock rivals off their board mid-run, full-speed contact ends in a ragdoll wipeout and your own crash never ends the race. Grind the rails, sweep up the coins and take the snowmobile for a burst of speed when you need to claw a place back. • THREE CUPS, TWELVE STAGES, THEN ENDLESS Three cups of four stages each, from the nursery slopes up through the pine run to the summit, ridden in the golden hour, after dark and in a proper whiteout. Clear the lot and the endless stage opens up: the riders you're chasing come back quicker every time you beat it, and once their pace tops out the mountain starts putting more in your way instead. • A SHOP WORTH RIDING FOR Ten boards and twelve characters to unlock, plus four upgrades that actually change your run: board speed, edge grip, style score and snowball recharge. There's a reward waiting every time you come back, fresh goals to chase and a chest at the end of the week. • CONTROLS YOU LEARN IN ONE RUN Drag anywhere on the lower half of the screen to steer. Tap right at the lip of a kicker to pop, hold your thumb down while you're in the air to spin and let go early to land it clean. That same held thumb takes the grab in the air, and the extra style points come with it. That's the lot - drag, tap, hold, release. • WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants a winter sports race they can start and finish on the bus. No account, no sign-in and no connection needed, so it rides just as well on the Tube, on a plane or anywhere the signal gives up. Free to play, with a single Remove Ads purchase if the ad breaks start to grate. Drop in.
