About
Weekly Menu Shop turns your dinner plans into a shopping list, without the busywork. Type out what you're making each day, Sunday through Saturday, in plain language. No dropdowns, no rigid recipe database to search through, just write it the way you'd tell someone else. The app reads what you typed, matches dish names to ingredients using a built-in dictionary covering nearly 300 dishes across 19 cuisines, and builds your shopping list automatically. Every item on the list is tied back to the day it's needed for, so when you're at the store, you know exactly which night that bag of tortillas is for. Don't see a dish in the dictionary? Teach it. Add your own dish once, and it's remembered from then on, right alongside the built-in ones, and takes priority if there's ever a naming overlap. Save your plan and the shopping list generates at the same time, one tap. Come back next week, update a few meals, save again, and your list updates in place. Already checked off half the groceries from a mid-week trip? Those checkmarks stay put. Editing your menu doesn't wipe your progress. No accounts. No sign-in. No cloud sync. Nothing about your weekly meals or your shopping habits ever leaves your phone. This app was built to do one thing well: turn "what are we eating this week" into "here's what to buy," as simply as possible. Features: - Plain-language meal entry for every day of the week - Automatic ingredient matching from a 300-dish, 19-cuisine dictionary - Day-attributed shopping lists, so you know what's for when - Teach the app new dishes it doesn't already know - One-tap save that updates your list without duplicating or wiping it - Fully offline, fully private, no account required - Optional weekly reminder to plan your next menu - Light and dark modeRead more
