Prime Lab

Some people believe prime numbers hide the secrets of the universe. We cannot promise that. But you can start dividing. Prime Lab was made for people who see a large composite number and think, “I wonder what is hiding in there.” If that sounds like you, welcome. If it does not, give us a few rounds. LEARN BY DOING A short first-use guide shows you how to begin. Enter prime divisors with a fixed number pad and reduce each target one factor at a time. Review the complete prime factorization after each round. There is no card deck and no multiple-choice rescue—just you, the number, and whatever your brain remembers about primes. ONLINE RACE Solve the same 5–7 digit target as a live opponent. If nobody arrives, the nearest mathematician bot steps in. Wins, draws, and losses change your Elo and your place on the all-time ladder. MORE FACTORS CAN STILL WIN You do not have to finish the entire target. When time runs out, finding more correct factors wins. If the factor counts match, faster progress breaks the tie. Mathematically fair, emotionally negotiable. SOLO STUDY Learn prime factorization without a timer or opponent. Choose Gentle, Standard, or Expert difficulty, use a hint when you need one, and work at your own pace. Before your first hint, the app explains that assisted rounds do not add Codex discoveries or mastery badges. The numbers are not going anywhere. PRIME CODEX & ACHIEVEMENTS Discover every prime from 2 through 997, complete mastery sets, and collect achievements by using primes correctly without hints. NO FUNNY BUSINESS - No ads - No purchases or subscriptions - No login - No cross-app tracking - Delete your anonymous online profile at any time Prime Lab is completely free. The only thing it asks you to spend is a little brainpower.
