About

Clear, Under or Take is a digital version of a traditional card game — the one played round kitchen tables with a standard deck, usually learned by watching a hand rather than by reading rules. Every turn is the same three-way choice the name describes. Play a card that clears the pile. Play one at or below the card on top. Or take the whole pile into your hand and start again. WHAT MAKES THIS VERSION DIFFERENT Most versions of this game strip the Jokers out and play it straight. This one keeps them, adds a gamble, and teaches you as you go. • Jokers are in. They clear the pile alongside your clear cards, and you choose which rank plays that role. • Risk cards. Four cards sit face down in front of you, each under a card you can see. Play the top one and you may flip the hidden card beneath it — a free play if it lands, the whole pile in your hand if it does not. Nobody knows what is under there. Not even you. • A coach that explains itself. Not a hint button. It names the best play and tells you why, in plain language, and you can turn it off the moment you stop needing it. PLAY • Two to eight seats. Set every opponent's skill and playing style separately. • Three AI levels — Average plays the turn in front of it, Experienced looks a turn ahead, Expert looks furthest. • Coach styles from cautious to reckless, so opponents feel like different people. • US and Canadian rule sets built in, plus optional variants: four-of-a-kind clears, face-down piles, bust penalties, pile counts. • Step through a hand one move at a time, or let it run. BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE • Works offline. No network needed, ever. • No accounts. No sign-in. Nothing to join. • No adverts. • Nothing is collected about you. ABOUT THE GAME This is an independent adaptation of a traditional folk card game played with standard 52-card decks across North America and Europe. Depending on where you learned it you may know a similar ruleset as Palace, Karma, Shed, China Hand, Threes, or Tens. Because the game family is popular, several companies publish their own commercial editions with custom decks and proprietary rules. This app is an independent, standard-deck digital creation and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any of them. studio3607Read more
