About

A keeping journal for tarantulas and other spiders. Your collection lives on the device. Everything works with no signal and no account; signing in adds sync between devices and a backup. THE JOURNAL Feedings, refusals, moults, rehousings, water top-ups, notes. Each entry carries a full timestamp, and any of them can be corrected later. GROWTH THAT COUNTS ITSELF A moult advances the animal a stage and can carry a photograph, so the timeline shows it at each instar with its measured size charted over time. SPECIES FROM A PHOTOGRAPH Point the camera at a spider and the app reads it, offering candidates with a confidence for each. Works before you make an account. CARE THAT KNOWS THE SPECIES Each species carries its own profile: humidity, temperature range, and how often animals of that species and stage are usually fed. Reminders follow from it — and can be turned off. Any of it can be set differently for one animal, and a spider known only to its genus can be added as it is. QR TAGS FOR ENCLOSURES Print a tag, stick it on the enclosure, scan it to open that animal. From the app's scanner, or from the system camera. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Today's care tasks, the animal that needs attention with its growth, and a shortcut to the scanner. ALSO Statistics for the collection, tiles, a list or full-width cards to look at it by, export to CSV, centimetres or inches, Celsius or Fahrenheit. In English, German, Polish, Czech, Portuguese, Russian and Ukrainian, following the language of your phone. Exuvia is the shed skin a spider leaves behind — the record of one more instar, which is what this app is for.Read more
