AURA is a voice assistant that answers out loud. Ask a question, hear the answer. No typing, no reading, no screen to look at. Keep your phone in your pocket and your AirPods in your ears. WHAT IT DOES • Ask anything out loud and hear the answer read back • Say "Hey Aura" to go hands-free — screen locked, phone away • Interrupt mid-answer, the way you would a person • Remembers what matters to you, and forgets whatever you ask it to • Reads your calendar and reminders when a question needs them • Sets reminders and alerts by voice • Starts from Siri, Shortcuts, or the Action Button PRIVATE BY DEFAULT There is no account and nothing to sign up for. There is no server of ours for your words to sit on. Your speech becomes text on your iPhone, answers come from your iPhone, and your conversations stay on your iPhone. We collect nothing. No analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash reporting, no email address. Delete the app and everything goes with it, because there was never a copy anywhere else. FREE, AND STAYING FREE Everything above costs nothing, forever. No adverts, and no upsells buried inside your answers. AURA PLUS — OPTIONAL $5 a month, with the first month free. Plus lets you connect your own Anthropic or Google API key, which is also what unlocks live results from the web, with the sources shown on screen. To be straight about it: Plus is for the app. It does not include any AI usage. Your chosen provider bills you directly, at their own rates, and we take no cut of that and cannot refund it. Set a spend limit on your provider account before you start. HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS Answers are generated by AI and can be wrong, out of date, or confidently incorrect. Verify anything that matters. AURA is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Answering on the device itself needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with the feature turned on. Without a connected provider, AURA has no access to live information — and it will tell you so rather than guessing from stale training data. Hands-free listening has to be started while the app is open, and iOS can suspend a backgrounded app at any time. When AURA is not certain it is still listening, it says so instead of pretending.
